JLB'S ITALIAN HOUSE PARTY LIVE EVERY
SUNDAY!
John LaBarca's Italian House Party
show can be heard live every Sunday
9am to 12pm on 1400 AM WSTC and
1350 AM WNLK.
The show reaches much of southern Connecticut along with Long Island and Westchester County.
IHP can also be heard streaming live on http://www.wstcwnlk.com
News/Talk
1400 WSTC/1350 WNLK is excited to
welcome John LaBarca as the new Morning
News Host! Starting Monday, June 2,
John LaBarca will be the host of the
Morning News from 5:30 to 9am and
news updates from 10am-noon. Tune
in to hear John every morning on 1400
WSTC/1350 WNLK!
LaBarca said he's been speaking to
people at WSTC/WNLK about a job for
a few weeks. He attributes his hiring
to his large built-in audience and
established reputation. "I've
been very blessed by having people
that know me," he said.
Between
its two frequencies, WSTC/WNLK can
be heard throughout Fairfield County,
including in Bridgeport. WSTC/WNLK
Program Director Eric McDonald said
he looked forward to working with
LaBarca. "Obviously, he's an
industry veteran," McDonald said.
"He's such a familiar voice.
We believe his audience has missed
him since he left the air."
LaBarca
will host the morning news on the
station weekdays from 5:30 to 9 a.m.,
and will host news updates from 10
a.m. to noon. He said his days will
now start at 4 a.m., but that it won't
be too difficult to get back into
the habit of keeping early hours."Are
you kidding me? I've been missing
it," he said.
His
new job will have him reading the
news, and interviewing local mayors
and other important people in the
area. LaBarca said his new job is
a little different from what he's
used to do, but he's just pleased
to be back on the air. "I'm looking
forward to working with my voice,"
he said.
